August so far ...

We had a great weekend and enjoyed our church service yesterday. This is the view of the church we attend from beachside... Pastor Ken (and the entire church family at First Baptist of Cocoa Beach) is so friendly. If you are new to the area, they welcome everyone and are located on A1A, just south of Minutemen Causeway. Service is at 10:30 on Sundays and they have Potluck Supper, every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Please don't feel like you have to bring anything to come and join us for supper because Pastor Ken makes some delicious spaghetti every week.

Since we arrived at church early we walked over to the beach to check out the surf. The effects of Hurricane Bill were fading but it was still nice out and there were tons of surfers. Our little Lillian is growing so fast and she prefers to do everything herself.

Great view for momma on the way to the beach ;)

Two weeks ago my cousin, Brandon, graduated from Full Sail. (As you can see, good looks run on all sides of our family) =)

It was so nice to see the family again this year! We love and miss you all so much.

The last time we all got together was the wedding.. so here is a shot from that day when we were getting ready. It was taken by our fabulous family photographer, Cyndy of Petit Amour Photography

She has changed so much in just a few months.. We are working on "touchdown!" and new signs everyday. As a matter of fact, yesterday at church Lillian had a "signing" conversation with a deaf couple. They were very happy and super pleased that Lillian was learning to sign. It was amazing!

I hope that you enjoy your week.

Lots of love &
God bless,
The Straessleys
